The French forward surprised many by securing a season-long loan to Los Rojiblancos on the final day of the transfer window last month.
Griezmann was booed whenever he played for Barcelona against Atletico in the past two years, and it seems the Madrid club's supporters have not yet forgiven the player for his departure in 2019.
Fans at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium expressed their displeasure as the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner's name was read out by the stadium announcer ahead of Atleti's UEFA Champions League match against Porto on Wednesday.

Griezmann started on the bench but was introduced in the 56th minute for Joao Felix, although he was unable to make any immediate impact as Atletico drew 0-0 with their Portuguese opposition.
