Ahead of the group stages of the Champions League, data and statistics website Squawka have released a list of 10 U-21 players who could enjoy a breakthrough campaign in the tournament this season.
FC Barcelona wonderkid Ansu Fati is the standout name on the list. The 16-year-old became the club's youngest-ever goalscorer when he netted against Osasuna in LaLiga at the end of last month and has broken a number of records since.

The Guinea-Bissau forward is expected to feature in Barca's opening match against Borussia Dortmund and will become the competition's youngest-ever goalscorer if he finds the back of the net.
Bayern Munich winger Alphonso Davies is another player expected to enjoy a breakthrough campaign. The 18-year-old joined the Bundesliga giants from Vancouver Whitecaps in 2018, has already made 10 senior appearances and he will be looking to make his mark in Europe's showpiece tournament this season.
