Ex-Arsenal and Barcelona forward Thierry Henry has officially become a shareholder in a professional football club.
How Ramos Reacted To Spain Snub
It has been confirmed that the French legend has bought shares in Italian Serie B club Como, with former Gunners teammate Cesc Fabregas among the team's other investors.
The 110-time Spain international joined the club after departing Monaco on a free transfer in the recent transfer window, and has made three appearances so far this season.
He is not the only familiar face at Como, however, with former Chelsea midfielder Dennis Wise currently the side's CEO.
Speaking about this new chapter in his career, Henry said it was a surreal experience becoming a shareholder in a club considering where he is from.
"You know, I go back to this," he told Sportsmail.
"I used to have a tennis ball in my corridor at home, trying to keep the ball up and making sure it wasn't going to touch the walls because if it did, then I was going to be in trouble.
"Now, being a shareholder of a team? I mean, you don't even think about that, do you, especially where I'm from.
"If I think about the journey – that is still not done – this is a new chapter."
Henry also suggested it was Fabregas who influenced his decision to get involved with Como.
"I know if Cesc is amazed about something – because he forgot to be stupid – it's because something is happening," he added.
Henry is still currently assistant manager to Belgium boss Robert Martinez, having penned a new deal with the national team in August last year.
