AC Milan 2-1 SPAL
Gonzalo Higuain got the winner as ten-man AC Milan beat SPAL 2-1 in Serie A on Saturday.
Andrea Petagna opener the scoring for SPAL in the 13th minute but Samu Castillejo found the equaliser for Gennaro Gattuso's charges.
Higuain made it 2-1 for the hosts in the 64th minute and Suso got red-carded with a minute left to play but Milan held on for much needed three points after a string of disappointing results.
Napoli 3-2 Bologna
Arkadiusz Milik netted a brace to inspire Napoli to a 3-2 win over Blogna on Saturday.
Federico Santander and Danilo were on target for Bologna but it was not enough as Dries Mertens scored the decisive goal for Carlo Ancelotti's troops two minutes before time to complement a brace from Milik.
Napoli got back on track in the league but still are a sizeable nine points behind leaders Juventus at second place midway through the season.
Parma 0-2 Roma
Roma cruised to a 2-0 win over Parma on Saturday afternoon.
Brian Cristante and Cengiz Under were on the scoresheet for Roma.
Empoli 0-1 Inter Milan
Inter Milan needed a late strike from Keita Balde to sink Empoli 1-0 on Saturday night in Serie A.
Balde scored the only goal of the match for Inter 18 minutes before time to earn needed three points for the visitors who played without their travelling fans after Empoli refused to make the tickets available to away fans following the racist abuse on Kalidou Koulibaly.
Inter have been hit with a two game home stadium ban for fans following the racism row in their game against Napoli this week.
