Amid rumours he wants nothing to do with Thomas Tuchel, Romelu Lukaku has reportedly agreed an exit from Chelsea.
The 2021/22 campaign was a difficult one for Belgium's all-time top goalscorer, who returned to the Blues as the club's most expensive signing in history following two impressive seasons at Inter Milan.
Scoring just 15 goals in all competitions, Lukaku has found regular game time hard to come by under Tuchel, particularly after his controversial interview with Sky Italia in which he admitted to not enjoying the way he was being used by his manager in England.
According to reports in Europe, the forward is hopeful of a return to the Italian giants ahead of next season, amid rumours he could rejoin the Nerazzurri on loan.
This comes as Corriere dello Sport claim that Lukaku does not want to continue his working relationship with Tuchel, whom the publication suggests shares a similar sentiment.
Tuttomercatoweb, meanwhile, believe the 29-year-old has already agreed personal terms with Inter regarding a potential return, a deal that could see him earn €7.5 million (R124 million) a year.
It is said that the aforementioned figure is only half of what he earns at the Blues, which could show just how desperate he is to remove himself from his current situation in London.
