Reports suggest that Italian giants Juventus are willing to let three of their star midfielders go in an attempt to lure a shock Englishman to the Allianz Stadium.
Ronaldo Speaks After Shock World Cup Exit
According to Calciomercatoweb, the record Serie A champions are willing to let go of France star Adrien Rabiot, Argentine Leandro Paredes and United States of America international Weston McKennie in an effort to sign one of Chelsea's brightest stars.
Manager Massimiliano Allegri is believed to be a massive admirer of Mason Mount, with the report suggesting that the Old Lady are keen on making an audacious bid for the central midfielder during the off-season.
Paredes has so far failed to establish himself as a regular starter under the Italian tactician following his loan move from Paris Saint-Germain, and the consensus among the Juve ranks is that it is unlikely they will make a permanent move for the 28-year-old.
Rabiot, meanwhile, has six months remaining on his current deal, and having almost left Juve this past off-season, the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner could call time on his spell in Turin when his contract expires.
With a possible sale of McKennie, those departures could ensure that a pursuit of Mount would be financially viable for the Italian giants.
Prior to the commencement of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, it was reported that the English star had rejected a contract extension of £200 000 (R4.2 million) a week from Chelsea, and Juve apparently want to pounce on any instability that might exist in the relationship between the Portsmouth native and the Blues.

Mount is currently one of the lowest-earning players at Stamford Bridge, having last signed a contract extension in 2019, and with 18 months remaining on his deal, the west Londoners are understood to be eager to resolve his situation as soon as possible.
