Paul Pogba Signs For Italian Giants?

Paul Pogba Signs For Italian Giants?

With Paul Pogba's departure from Manchester United confirmed, reports suggest that the Frenchman has put pen to paper on a contract with a new club.

'Mbappe Asked Me To Choose PSG Over Real'

Pogba's time in Manchester will probably be remembered as an underwhelming one given the circumstances he arrived in.

The 29-year-old returned to the Red Devils in spectacular fashion when the 13-time Premier League champions made him the most expensive player in football history back in 2016, but injuries and inconsistent performances saw the Frenchman fail to justify that €105 million (R1.7 billion) price tag.

Having left United as a free agent in 2012, he will leave in similar fashion a decade later, and like he did back then, it appears the midfielder will be leaving Old Trafford for Juventus.

According to Foot Mercato, the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner will once again be returning to a former club of his as he has agreed a four-year deal with the Bianconeri.

The same report claims that the 36-time Scudetto winners were persistent in their pursuit of Pogba, with other potential suitors, such as Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, eventually turning their attention to other targets, and it seems Juve have now got their man.

It was at the Allianz Stadium between 2012 and 2016 that the Frenchman established himself as one of the best midfielders on the planet and earned his world-record move back to Manchester.

While in Turin, Pogba won four straight Serie A titles, as well as two Coppa Italias.

The man who was at the helm during much of the midfielder's first stint with the Old Lady was Massimiliano Allegri, and with the Italian tactician back in the club's dugout, Pogba will be working under him once again if he does complete the switch to Italy.
