Pogba, a 2018 FIFA World Cup winner, left United when his contract expired in June, the second time he had departed the English giants without a transfer fee being paid for his signature.
In his recently-released documentary, the midfielder aimed several jabs at United for their reluctance to offer him a deal that met his wage demands and said he was determined to show the club, and others, that they made a mistake in not betting on him.
Pogba had previously been linked with Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, but neither side's reported interest materialised in proposals being made.
The player now returns to the Bianconeri, with whom he won eight trophies, including four Serie A titles, between 2012 and 2016.
