The Bianconeri have secured the services of Fiorentina forward Dusan Vlahovic.

The Serbian sensation was perhaps one of the most attractive attacking names available on the market this month, having registered an astounding 17 goals in 21 appearances in the Italian top flight so far this season.

As a result, he attracted interest from some of the biggest clubs in world football, with Arsenal previously heavily linked with the 21-year-old.

Juventus were said to be keen on landing his services this January rather than waiting till the end of the season to compete for his signature with other European heavyweights.

The forward opted against committing to signing an extension with Viola, forcing Fiorentina to open themselves to the idea of selling the player.

Arsenal 'Identify Three Vlahovic Alternatives'

Arsenal seemed to be leading the race for Vlahovic's signature before the deal with Juventus had been struck, with Fiorentina's sporting director Daniele Prade recently issuing a statement saying that the player and his agent were refusing to negotiate.

"We received some very substantial offers, but we never got a response from his representatives," he said.

Vlahovic scored 49 goals in 108 appearances for Fiorentina, with 41 of those coming since the start of the 2020/21 campaign.
