Following his recent exit from Juventus, reports suggest that Paulo Dybala's next move could be to a club outside the top echelon of European football.
The diminutive Argentine decided to officially call time on his Juventus career in June, having spent the past seven years plying his trade at the Allianz Stadium.
With the 28-year-old refusing to sign an extension with the Old Lady earlier this year, recent reports had linked him with a free transfer to rivals Inter Milan, but it seems the potential move to the Nerazzurri has come to a screeching halt.
According to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, because Inter prioritised the re-signing of Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea, the club no longer has the capacity to also bring in Dybala.
"So Inter pulled out."
Di Marzio continued to elaborate on who was also out of contention for the Argentine's signature due to his wage demands, among other reasons.
"Milan and Roma can only enter the race when he decides to lower his wage requests," he added.
"But at the moment neither of them have made a move. There's Manchester United if [Cristiano] Ronaldo were to leave.
"But they're looking for a NO. 9, and if they sign Dybala they would have to change their style of play. But the truth is that no top Premier League or La Liga club wants Dybala.
"Manchester City, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona, ??PSG, and Bayern Munich, the six biggest teams in Europe, all have other plans. Now he's in a situation where he probably has to change his plans.
"He'll probably have to play for a weaker team and earn less money because he doesn't have a team yet."
