Serie A leaders Napoli have reportedly placed an eye-watering £150 million price-tag on their talisman Victor Osimhen for clubs interested in the Nigeria international this off-season.

The Lagos native has been one of Europe's most prolific forwards this season, having found the back of the net 25 times in 29 games for Gli Azzurri, and as a result, he has garnered a lot of attention from clubs outside of Italy.
The likes of Manchester United and Chelsea have been heavily linked with a move for the 24-year-old, but, according to Il Mattino, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis will not entertain any offer short of £150 million (R3.3 billion).
Osimhen currently has a contract at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona that runs until 2025 and the club will be looking to renew the Nigerian's deal before they consider selling him.
The same report claims that the Super Eagle would be interested in a move to Old Trafford, but the price tag placed on him may deter the club from pursuing his signature, with Tottenham Hotspur No. 10 Harry Kane seen as an alternative.

Should a club successfully fork out Napoli's asking price, that would make Osimhen's departure from the Italian topflight the most lucrative in the league's history, breaking Romelu Lukaku's record move of £97.5 million (R2.2 billion) when the Belgian left Inter Milan for Chelsea in 2021.
