Jose Mourinho has admitted his frustrations about the transfer business his AS Roma side has been doing.

When the Roma chiefs hired Mourinho to become the club's newest manager at the beginning of the 2021/22 campaign, they brought him on board because they wanted him to help them win trophies again.
Although they only finished in sixth position in Serie A in his inaugural season at the Stadio Olimpico, the man they call the "Special One" did manage to help Roma secure their first-ever major European cup when the Giallorossi won the inaugural UEFA Europa Conference League title.
Looking to kick on and compete for the UEFA Champions League positions in the league, the Portuguese tactician has now revealed his displeasure with the rate of incomings at Roma.
"Can you tell by my expression I'm worried?" he said at Trajan's Markets for the Phygital Sustainability Expo where his daughter Matilde was presenting her jewellery collection, as per Corriere dello Sport.
"I am bit frustrated with the transfer market.
"But don't worry, don't worry."
So far the only signings they have to show for the 2022/23 campaign are midfielder Nemanja Matic, defender Zeki Celik and goalkeeper Mile Svilar – two of which were free transfers.
Roma have been linked with a plethora of attacking talent in recent weeks, with Valencia's Goncalo Guedes and Sassuolo's Domenico Berardi among the names mentioned.
Paulo Dybala is another potential target given that the diminutive playmaker is out of contract, and he could come in for Nicolo Zaniolo, who is tipped for a Roma exit.
According to reports, the club is also looking for another experienced midfielder to accompany Matic's integration into the squad.
