Coppa Italia Report: Juventus 1-2 Fiorentina 5 March 2015

Fiorentina have the advantage after the first leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final against Juventus after winning 2-1 away from home. The hosts had the first chance in the third minute when Paul Pogba played Vidal through on goal but the Chile international's strike went just wide of the goal with Pepe unsuccessfully stretching to get a touch on it. The deadlock was broken in the 11th minute. Juve won a corner kick that Pepe whipped in but Joaquin cleared and gave Mohamed Salah the chance to break on a counter attack. The Egyptian winger raced away before blasting his shot into the back of the net to give Fiorentina the lead. In the 24th minute the Old Lady was back on level terms. A cross from the right flank picked out Fernando Llorente who guided a phenomenal header past the goalkeeper who was rooted to the spot. Fiorentina were back in the lead in the 54th minute as Salah completed his brace. He beat two defenders before tucking home a smart finish into the bottom left corner of the goal from close range. The hosts had a great chance to equalise in the 81st minute when Caceres made his way to the byline before cutting back a dangerous ball across the face of the area. However, it took a deflection off Pereyra and went behind for a goal kick.
