Motsepe Confirms Decision On AFCON Amid Cancellation Reports
The president of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), Gabriele Gravina, has confirmed that Salernitana will be booted from the top flight should they not find a buyer by 31 December.
Salernitana won promotion to Italy's top division this year for the first time in 23 years, but their owner, Claudio Lotito, already owns Lazio.
According to the Daily Mail, ownership of multiple teams in the same league is not allowed in Serie A, with control of the club recently being handed to a trust to find a new buyer.
Here are all the teams that have qualified for this season's UEFA Champions League round of 16 stage:
"There won't be any let-offs when it comes to the 31 December deadline for the sale of Salernitana," Gravina said.
"If there are not any new developments by 31 December, Salernitana are out."
