Following Real's 3-1 away win over Club Brugge in Europe on Wednesday night, the 47-year-old addressed the possibility of being drawn against champions Liverpool in the next round of the tournament.
Zidane last took charge of a match against the Reds in 2018, when Los Blancos famously beat Jurgen Klopp's side in the final of the competition in Kiev, Ukraine.
Asked about the prospect of being drawn with Liverpool in the round of 16 next week Monday, the Frenchman was quick to joke that his Real side would not have any problems beating the Premier League giants again.

"If we play Liverpool, we will eliminate them," a smiling Zidane said, according to Onefootball.
"We can't do anything about the draw."
Zidane then discussed his team's win in Belgium, saying he was happier with their second half display.
"We are happy with the victory and with the way we played," he added.
"We had difficulty with our game since they usually play with five at the back and, today, they played with four.
"It took 10 or 15 minutes for the players to adjust. The second half was better in every area."
