After FC Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi publicly slammed his club's board, Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane commented on the uncertain circumstances at the LaLiga champions.
There was a high-profile row between the Argentine and Barca sporting director Eric Abidal on Monday night, after the club captain took issue with his former teammate's criticism of the Blaugrana's first-team players.
While the disagreement is believed to have been settled since, this issue is still a major cause for concern among Barcelona's hierarchy, but Zidane feels the fallout will not hurt his rivals' chances of competing on all fronts.
"What I can tell you about the players that they are, and the team they are, will compete until the end of the season.
"The good ones are always good. Then the rest is not interested. In football, they are going to compete."
After 22 matches in LaLiga this season, Los Blancos are three points ahead of the Catalans at the top of the table.
