Following an inconsistent but promising first three seasons at Los Blancos after his arrival from Flamengo in 2018, the winger has seen his stock rise remarkably over the past two campaigns.
The 22-year-old is today considered among the best attacking players in world football, having contributed to 86 goals in all competitions since the beginning of the 2021/22 season.
The Selecao star's performances will now reportedly see him being rewarded with a new contract that will run until 2027, with his current deal set to expire in June 2024.

According to the Daily Mail, Los Blancos will offer Vinicius new terms that would make him one of the team's highest-paid players on a wage that would eclipse the weekly earnings of Toni Kroos and Karim Benzema, with the pair are believed to be on about €345 000 (R7.1 million) a week.
The report adds that the 14-time European champions want to make the talented forward's renewal "one of three blockbuster player presentations" ahead of next season.

The other two will be the expected arrival of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham and a striker to play second fiddle to Benzema.
