With Real Madrid having won only one of their past five matches, club chiefs have reportedly held talks with Mauricio Pochettino to replace Zinedine Zidane as part of a deal that could see two-time Premier League Golden Boot winner Harry Kane also move to Spain.
Despite claiming a 2-0 win over rivals FC Barcelona at the beginning of the month, Los Blancos have endured some inconsistent form in recent weeks, which has piled pressure on the shoulders of the under-fire Zidane.
According to the Daily Mirror, Real have since held talks with Pochettino about becoming the club's manager if things do not improve, and are plotting to reunite the former Tottenham Hotspur boss with his former star striker Kane in the Spanish capital.
