Despite already having spent over €300 million ahead of 2019/20, Real Madrid are reportedly close to announcing their first January signing after already agreeing terms with the player.

According to AS, Los Blancos will announce the arrival of Brazilian sensation Reinier Jesus on 19 January, when he turns 18.
The Flamengo midfielder, who had a brilliant breakout campaign, is understood to have agreed a six-and-a-half contract with the Spanish giants, who will pay his €30 million (R479 million) release clause.

The youngster will initially join the club's B side Castilla, coached by former Real striker Raul Gonzalez, while also being given opportunities to train with the first team headed by Zinedine Zidane.
Reinier has also been linked with other major clubs such as Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid, but it seems Los Blancos have won the race for the Brazilian starlet.

The attacking midfielder has made 15 appearances for Flamengo, scoring six times and assisting in two strikes to help his side win the Brazilian championship as well as the Copa Libertadores – the South American Champions League.
