Following Karim Benzema's departure last season, there were questions raised as to where Real's goals would come from, but a combined effort from their forwards saw them accumulate the strikes that ultimately saw them win the LALIGA and UEFA Champions League titles.

One of the players who contributed in this regard was Brahim Diaz. Upon returning to the Santiago Bernabeu from a loan stint at AC Milan, the attacker played predominately as a substitute, coming off the bench in 22 of the 44 appearances he made for the club during the 2023/24 season.

He was still able to help the team find the back of the net, though, scoring 12 goals and providing nine assists too.

According to Foot Mercato, these performances attracted interest from Tottenham Hotspur and AS Roma, who were said to be keen on buying the Moroccan.

Despite this interest in the 24-year-old, though, the same report claims that Real are not interested in selling the Malaga native, and that he is not interested in leaving the Spanish capital.

It is believed that even though Joselu has left Real, Kylian Mbappe's arrival could mean Diaz will likely get even less game time in the coming campaign, but he is keen to continue fighting for his place and win trophies with Los .
