According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the 14-time European champions are close to completing the acquisition of 18-year-old Turkey international Arda Guler.
The teenager has impressed at Fenerbahce, after playing a hand in 21 goals in 51 senior appearances for the club since his senior debut in 2021.
Rumours suggested that the playmaker was being hotly pursued by Barcelona, with reports in Spain earlier this week claiming the Catalan giants were closing in on his signature.
Considered to be among football's brightest wonderkids, Guler has already represented his country's senior national team and scored his first goal, a left-footed curled effort from outside the box, for Turkey during the recent international break.
The midfielder has been likened to Blaugrana legend Lionel Messi due to his dribbling style and technique, with Real believed to have parted with €20 million (R407 million) in order to secure his services.

Guler is expected to become Real's fourth arrival ahead of the 2023/24 campaign, after the club signed striker Joselu, left-back Fran Garcia and midfield star Jude Bellingham earlier in this window.
