One of Real Madrid's signings has caused a bit more of stir after his recent remarks about FC Barcelona legend Lionel Messi.
Franco Mastantuono was officially unveiled to the media on Thursday following his move from Argentine giants River Plate.

The Los Blancos signing got tongues wagging when he revealed that countryman Lionel Messi is the greatest footballer.
“The best player in the world, in my opinion, is Messi. I’m Argentinian and for me, he’s the greatest,” Mastantuono said at his press conference, as per One Football.
“Messi has meant a lot to both Barcelona and Argentinians. I believe Madrid is the greatest club in the world, history says so.

"I’m here to forge my own path, and I want Madrid supporters to be proud of what I do on the pitch.”
Mastantuono is the fourth player to join Madrid in this transfer window following the arrivals of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dean Huijsen and Álvaro Carreras.
