The announcement comes ahead of Real's final LaLiga game of the season at home against Athletic Bilbao on Sunday.
Asensio has been a Los Blancos player since 2015, after joining the club from Mallorca, and has amassed an incredible trophy collection since that includes three UEFA Champions League titles.
The 35-time Spain international has been utilised as a rotational player since Carlo Ancelotti's return to the club, although he has still been impressive on his way to 20 goal contributions in 50 appearances this season.
