Mourinho has won just four of his 11 games in charge of Spurs thus far, and his task was made significantly harder after star striker Harry Kane picked up a long-term hamstring injury.
As a consequence, the 2018/19 UEFA Champions League finalists, who currently have 20 points less than they did at the same stage last season, are reportedly looking for a new striker.

According to The Telegraph, Spurs are now after Leicester City flop Islam Slimani. The 31-year-old joined the Foxes for a then club-record fee of £29 million (R547 million) in 2016, but has scored only 13 goals in 46 games for the club.
He spent last season on loan at Fenerbahce, but found the back of the net just five times in 25 appearances in Turkey.
This season, he is loan at AS Monaco, where his form has improved. So far, he has scored seven goals and assisted another seven strikes in 14 appearances in France.
