As the deadly coronavirus continues to spread across Europe, LaLiga giants Real Madrid have now become the latest football club to be forced into quarantine, while the Spanish top flight is now suspended as well.

On Thursday, numerous sources across Spain reported that Los Blancos' players had gone into quarantine after a player from the club's basketball team had tested positive for the Covid-19 strand of the coronavirus.
All sporting activities within the greater Real Madrid club are believed to take place within the same training facilities, and as such, the football team has been quarantined as a precaution against the spread of the virus.

No further information has been provided by the club at this stage, but it is believed that Real's UEFA Champions League clash against Manchester City next week is under threat, while LaLiga have since confirmed that all league matches have been suspended.
