Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly keen to lure a Paris Saint-Germain star to the Spanish capital in the upcoming transfer window.

PSG once again look set to for a massive off-season, with a some of their biggest stars expected to leave the club.
It is believed the superstar attacking duo of Lionel Messi and Neymar will no longer be at the Parc des Princes once the 2023/24 season commences, and while their exits were perhaps predictable, Marco Verratti's reported wish to also leave the French capital may come as a surprise to some.
According to 90min, the Italian playmaker is unhappy at the Ligue 1 champions and wants a fresh challenge, especially now that his good friend Messi is looks on course to leave the club once his contract expires at the end of the season.

The defensive midfielder is also reportedly keen to finally add a major European trophy to his trophy cabinet, and Ancelotti seemingly wants to help his compatriot achieve that.
As per Fichajes, the 63-year-old tactician has become concerned about both Luka Modric and Toni Kroos' physical condition after their UEFA Champions League elimination by Manchester City, and believes Verratti's younger legs will better complement those of the likes of Edouardo Camavinga and Fede Valverde in the coming future.
It is further claimed that Ancelotti believes Verratti is a better technical player than Aurelien Tchouameni.

The four-time Champions League-winning manager is very familiar with the Italy international's qualities too, having coached him at PSG between 2012 and 2013.
