There were reports that Zinedine Zidane clashed with Cristiano Ronaldo after substituting him against Las Palmas on the weekend, and the coach has now commented on the row, insisting he is "not stupid".

The Frenchman decided to give his superstar some rest, replacing him with Lucas Vazquez after 72 minutes in Saturday's La Liga encounter.
Ronaldo, though, did not take the decision too well and was visibly upset as he walked off the pitch, before seeing his side concede a late equaliser from the bench.
However, the Los Blancos boss has insisted there is no row between him and the Portuguese, explaining that it's not uncommon for players to get upset when being substituted.
"Everything is normal," Zidane said on Monday, as quoted by ESPN.
"It is not just Cristiano, all players can be angry when they leave the pitch. We're already thinking about tomorrow's game. I took the decision for the good of the player.
"Nothing has changed. All this talk (about the incident), more than about tomorrow's game, well, we must live with that. We are relaxed.
"I'm not stupid, and he is intelligent. We are all here for the same thing.
"I rotate because a player who never plays won't be match fit. You can need them at any moment.
"I'm not stupid and I'll always put out my best side, then you can make three changes."
Reports of an unhappy Ronaldo aside, Real are in the midst of preparing for their UEFA Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday night.
Los Blancos have lost their past three away games against the in-form German side, but Zidane has insisted his side won't fear their Bundesliga opponents.
"No, I'm not thinking about what has happened on the pitch in the past. This is a different game," he added.
"It will be tough but we'll go out to play our football. We're Real Madrid and we want to win every game."
