Having been one of the most consistent performers in the Premier League since 2017, Mohamed Salah is arguably the biggest sportsman in the Arabic world.
The 31-year-old, in the six-and-a-half seasons he has been at Liverpool, has contributed to a staggering 287 goals in just 328 matches across all competitions across all competitions for the Reds.
Earlier this year, the Merseysiders were believed to have rejected an incredible offer worth more than £100 million (R2.3 billion) from Saudi Pro League champions Al Ittihad, but it appears that will not be the end of this story.
The Daily Mail reports that the Saudi government-backed division will be in for Salah again next year, and believe that landing his signature could be even more important for the league than Ronaldo's January arrival.
The Saudi Pro League's popularity has increased massively since the five-time Ballon d'Or winner joined Al Nassr, with many other high-profile footballers having followed in his footsteps.

It is said Salah was close to joining the SPL earlier this year and will still be targeted in future, potentially due to his background and reputation as one of the game's best players.
