The five-time Ballon d'Or winner opened his account for 2024 when he struck late to secure a 1-0 round of 16 first-leg win over Al Fayha in the AFC Champions League.
Ronaldo's strike came in the 81st minute after their Saudi Pro League rivals seemed to have done enough to claim a point.
The goal was followed by a new celebration from the ex-Real Madrid and Manchester United talisman, which saw him combine two movements and poses he has become synonymous with.
Running towards the corner flag in jubilation, the 39-year-old leapt into the air as he would for his famous "Suiiiii" celebration, but instead locked his fingers before placing his hands on his chest.
