It has been reported that two more clubs have rejected the chance to sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United in this transfer window.
According to Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri, both Inter Milan and AC Milan were offered the chance to land Ronaldo's signature in this window, but have turned down the proposals.
The 37-year-old is understood to be pushing for a move away from the Red Devils for the 2022/23 campaign, but has so far been unable to drum up enough interest for an official bid to materialise.
Earlier in the window, Bayern Munich and Chelsea were said to be interested in the former Real Madrid and Juventus forward but subsequently chose not to pursue it further.
Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona were also mentioned among the potential clubs Jorge Mendes had offered his client to, but, like the aforementioned sides, they did not submit offers to United.
Ronaldo has just under a year remaining on his contract with the Red Devils, although he has reportedly made it clear his wish is to continue playing in the UEFA Champions League.
United failed to secure a spot in Europe's elite club competition following a sixth-place finish in the Premier League last season, and have got the new campaign off to a nightmare start.
