Speculation surrounding the 31-year-old's destiny in Paris is at an all-time high as the skilful attacker finds himself sidelined for the rest of the season after sustaining a ligament injury in his ankle. The attacker will soon have surgery, which will see him miss up to four months' worth of action.
Much of Neymar's PSG career has been blighted by significant injuries, and it is this, along with his post-2022 FIFA World Cup form, that has reportedly seen the French club's hierarchy place the polarising superstar on their transfer list.
Since returning from Qatar, the forward's performances have dipped, and after slamming youngsters Vitinha and Hugo Ekitike and having a verbal altercation with sporting director Luis Campos following a league defeat to AS Monaco, Les Parisiens are said to be planning to listen to offers for Brazil's all-time top goalscorer in the off-season.
According to L'Equipe, however, the Mogi das Cruzes native has no intention of leaving the Parc des Princes and intends to honour his contract with the club, which reportedly runs until 2027.
Following his injury, football's most expensive footballer of all time also insisted, via social media, that wants to come back stronger and help lead the team to more success.

It is unlikely the French giants recoup the €222 million (R4.3 billion) they paid Barcelona for Neymar's services in 2017, but it is believed the Ligue 1 club is willing to take a significant shortfall on the former Santos prodigy in the upcoming transfer window in an effort to get rid of him.
