A former Chelsea manager believes Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe is the heir to Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo's Ballon d'Or throne.
After starring in France 2018 World Cup-winning campaign and finished fourth in last year's Ballon d'Or voting.
The 20-year-old has once again been nominated for the 30-man shortlist for 2019, and Andrea Villas-Boas believes the PSG star will be the dominant winner for the award in the future.
"Kylian is progressing to be the natural successor of Cristiano or Messi at the Golden Ball," he said, as per L'Équipe.

Neymar is currently out injured, but Mbappe will certainly look to bang in the goals during Sunday's derby against Olympique Marseille.
