A shock report has suggested that three-time Premier League winner Cristiano Ronaldo has been offered to one of the biggest teams in England by his agent.
With the forward having entered the final year of his contract at Juventus, there continues to be uncertainty around his future in Italy.
Since last season, Ronaldo has been linked with clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Manchester United, but a new Premier League side has emerged as a potential destination for the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.
Although Manchester City are believed to be chasing Harry Kane's signature, it has now been claimed by Corriere dello Sport that Ronaldo's agent, Jorge Mendes, has offered the EPL champions a chance to sign his client as an alternative to the England captain.
Juve would reportedly be willing to part ways with the former Los Blancos and Red Devils superstar for as little as £25 million (R515 million) in this transfer window.
It is widely reported in Italy that the Portugal captain earns three times more than any other player in Serie A, with the Bianconeri said to be ready to get him off their wage bill.
Despite this news, though, City's position on the matter remains unclear as rumours in England suggest that the Citizens are preparing to launch a new bid for Kane, who missed Tottenham Hotspur's 1-0 win over Pep Guardiola's side on Sunday.
