Former Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon did not have the opportunity to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo at the Bianconeri, but seems to be more of a Lionel Messi fan nevertheless.

Despite many believing that, instead of comparing Ronaldo and Messi, fans should rather appreciate them both while they are still at the top of their games, the superstars are almost always spoken of as rivals.
Even Italy legend Buffon appears to have his preference, as was evident when he was asked who he believes the favourites are for the UEFA Champions League recently.
"Champions League favourites? You have to say Barcelona because they have the best player in the world," he answered, according to Give Me Sport.
"Then Juventus, who signed the other player who is considered the best."
'I Admire Ronaldo, But Messi Is Magical'
Messi has been in great form in Europe so far this season, having scored five goals in just two matches, while Ronaldo is yet to open his account in the 2018/19 instalment of the tournament.
