FC Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has once again defended his former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo after his alleged 'robbery' goal celebration.

Ronaldo celebrated his opener against Rayo Vallecano with a controversial hand gesture, which Spanish media interpret as "this is a theft" statement after he was booked for diving earlier in the game.
However, Pique, who played with Ronaldo at Manchester United, believes the Portuguese won't be punished for his 'robbery' gesture.
"It was in the heat of the moment," the Spaniard said, as quoted by Marca.
"That's the way he is and sometimes he expresses himself and reacts like that.
"It's not the first time he's made that gesture. He's never been punished for it before and I don't think he will be now.
"It's not my problem anyway."
Ronaldo has since been cleared of his fifth yellow card, which he received for diving, and will be available for the game against Eibar.

Pique, meanwhile, has been in fine form this season, scoring four La Liga goals in 21 appearances.
