Earlier in the week, Minnesota United manager Adrian Heath revealed that he would not be surprised to see Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo join up with former England captain Beckham at his newly formed MLS side, Inter Miami.

"We really believe in the roster we have," Beckham said, as reported by The National.

"Every team in the world would want Messi and Ronaldo in their teams, but we always talked about us being different from any other team, which I am sure every other owner says exactly the same thing.
