The Portugal talisman recently admitted in his film Ronaldo that he believes he is the best player in the world, even better than FC Barcelona's Lionel Messi.
Ronaldo can often be seen getting frustrated with his teammates when they don't pass him the ball, which has earned him negative attention in the Spanish media.
Since he joined Los Blancos from Manchester United for a then world-record transfer fee in 2009, Ronaldo has, in fact, been more recognised for his personal success than his team's success.
The Portuguese forward has won seven trophies with Real, of which four are seen as major titles: La Liga (1), the Copa del Rey (2), and the UEFA Champions League (1). The other three trophies were the FIFA Club World Cup and the UEFA Super Cup in 2014, and the Spanish Super Cup in 2012.
Individually, Ronaldo has taken the football world by storm, and since transferring to his dream club, he has won a grand total of 13 accolades.
The superstar has won the La Liga Top Scorers award (3), the Champions League Top Scorers award (3), the European Golden Shoe (3), the La Liga's Best Player of the Year award (1), the La Liga's Best Forward award (1), as well as two FIFA Ballon d'Or awards.
Many are of the opinion Ronaldo might be in his last season at Real, with reports abounding that club president Florentino Perez is willing to let the 30-year-old leave for £80 million.
