Barcelona are reportedly planning a stunning swap deal that would see Cristiano Ronaldo join forces with longstanding rival Lionel Messi.
Ronaldo Branded A 'Fool' For Showboating
According to a stunning report by AS, the Catalan club could be looking to bring the Juventus forward back to Spain in the form of a massive swap deal.
With Messi expected to sign a new deal in the coming weeks, new Blaugrana president Joan Laporta has seemingly begun to plot a daring move for Juventus' Ronaldo, who represented Real Madrid from 2009 to 2018.
It has been suggested that Laporta, who is described by some as "box office", would love to be the man who brings the two superstars together, although it remains unknown as to whether or not such a deal is something Ronaldo would entertain.

Laporta has reportedly not yet formally contacted Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes regarding the potential transfer, but has already identified Sergi Roberto, Philippe Coutinho and Antoine Griezmann as players he would be prepared to offer as part of a swap move for the Portugal captain.
This bold idea could be seen as a way to improve the Blaugrana's financial situation, with AS' report suggesting that the club's revenue would double by having both superstars in the same team.
Ronaldo's relationship with Los Blancos would be expected to make striking a deal difficult, particularly as the Portuguese is Real's all-time record goalscorer with 450 goals in 438 games.
