Sancho Linked With European Giants

A Spanish giant is reportedly interested in landing Jadon Sancho's signature.

With Manchester United reportedly desperate to get rid of Jadon Sancho, the Englishman has been offered to one of Spain's biggest clubs.

With the Red Devils confirming that Erik ten Hag will stay at the club for the 2024/25 campaign, Sancho is expected to continue his career away from Old Trafford.

The pair saw their relationship deteriorate last season, and with it seemingly irreparable, the 24-year-old spent the second half of the 2023/24 campaign on loan at his former club Borussia Dortmund, where he had a strong finish to the season.

While the German giants would like to have the attacker back permanently, they are said to be unwilling to pay his mooted his €60 million (R1.1 billion) price tag.

This has seemingly presented other clubs the opportunity to acquire his services, and one of them is Barcelona.

The Catalan giants are in the market for a new left winger, and while sporting director Deco would like to bring in Liverpool's Luiz Diaz, and the club's board of directors would like to acquire Nico Williams of Athletic Bilbao, their new head coach Hansi Flick is believed to be fan of Sancho.

Both Diaz and Williams would cost a significant amount of money, and so would the London native, but with United determined to get rid of him, the possibility of a loan move is a situation that is seemingly appeasing to both the Manchester club and the Blaugrana.

In fact, it is claimed that United offered Sancho to the Spanish giants about two months ago, but this was rejected back then. Now, with a potential loan on the cards, Barcelona are back int he picture.

According to Sport, the only stumbling block for the 23-cap England international's arrival at the Camp Nou are his wages, but the same report claims that if a move to Catalonia is a realistic possibility for him, Sancho would not mind earning less money to make the transfer happen.
