Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly agreed to pay the release clause of a player who is expected to become their first signing of the 2022/23 season.

'Barca Could Have Kept Messi'

The French giants appear to be closing in on the arrival of Portuguese midfielder Vitinha, who is reportedly undergoing a medical ahead of a switch from FC Porto.

According to Le Parisien, the 22-year-old is set to commit to a five-year contract with the Ligue 1 champions following an impressive 2021/22 campaign in which he made 47 appearances.

Here are 14 players who will officially become free agents as of 1 July:

Vitinha is a product of Porto's esteemed academy and has so far made three appearances for Portugal's senior team after making his international debut earlier this year.

Since breaking through in his native country, the midfielder has contributed to 10 goals in 59 games across all competitions, while he spent the 2020/21 season on loan at Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League.
