Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly threatened to banish seven senior players to the lower division in order to get them to leave.

With a lot of the players struggling to find clubs before the transfer window closes on 1 September 2022, PSG have now reportedly resorted to drastic measures.

French publication Le Pairsien has reported that the club have threatened to banish seven players to the fifth division, where the club's reserves play their football.
The seven players on the list include Mauro Icardi, Ander Herrera, Layvin Kurzawa, Julian Draxler, Rafinha, Thilo Kehrer and Idrissa Gueye.
Icardi has been linked with a move to Manchester United, who are said to be on the chase for a new strike while Rafinha is reportedly wanted by Real Sociedad.
