Report: French Giants To Sell 30 First Team Players

In an attempt to make cost-cutting measures, One of Ligue 1's biggest cubs are reportedly ready to sell up to 30 players in the next transfer window.

The Ligue 1 season was officially cancelled earlier this month due to the coronavirus pandemic, which saw AS Monaco finish in ninth spot, one point adrift of European football.

French publication Les Echos have now reported that Monaco could look to sell as many as 30 first-team players, despite having the one of the largest budget in the league.

Once the 2020-21 season begins, the Ligue 1 outfit could reportedly boast a total of 60 players due to players returning on loan.

It is believed the eight-time French league winners will engage in a fire sale, which could see a number of big earners and loaned out players being sold.

Full-back Fode Ballo-Toure could one of the high-profile names to leave Monaco in the next transfer window, with Manchester United reportedly keen on the 23-year-old.
