Paris Saint-Germain have officially announced their newest manager following the departure of Mauricio Pochettino.
The Four Clubs CR7 Wants To Join Revealed?
Les Parisiens is perhaps known for appointing household names in the hotseat, but now the club has gone a different route.
Christophe Galtier is the new man at the helm for the reigning French champions.
With the firing of Leonardo as the club's sporting director as well, Luis Campos has taken over that role and has been tasked with not only recruiting players but also finding a new manager.
Campos and Galtier previously worked together at Lille, culminating in the duo leading the side to the 2020/21 Ligue 1 title.
Speaking at his unveiling, Galtier said: "I am moved I am proud. Parc des Princes is a symbol. If I have accepted this role as PSG boss, it is because I am capable of it."
Like others before him, winning the league will be a non-negotiable objective as the team's performances in the UEFA Champions League under Galtier will be largely what he is judged on.
