The 2019/2020 Ligue 1 season was officially cancelled last week due to the coronavirus pandemic, which saw Paris Saint-Germain awarded the title.
The other outstanding issue was the Golden Boot, which eventually went Mbappe who scored 18 goals - the same amount as AS Monaco's Wissam Ben Yedder.
However, the league decided to give the accolade to Mbappe due to the PSG star scoring all of his 18 goals from open play this campaign but the 2018 World Cup winner does not agree with that decision.

Merci à tous pour vos messages.
Je pense par contre que Wissam aussi mérite un trophée, comme ça s’est fait en Premier League la saison dernière pour récompenser son année ???????...

"Thank you all for your messages. I do think that Wissam also deserves a trophy, as it did in the Premier League last season to reward his year," Mbappe wrote on Twitter.
