A brace from Kylian Mbappe inspired Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germain to a 4-0 hammering of Dijon in their final home game of the season. PSG manager Thomas Tuchel recalled Alphonse Areola, Thomas Meunier, Loic Mbe Soh, Thilo Kehrer, Layvin Kurzawa and Julian Draxler. Dijon, who made two changes in Mickael Alphonse and Kwon Chong-hoon, and fell behind as early as the third minute through Angel Di Maria's curling effort. It was two a minute later as Di Maria turned provider to pick out Edinson Cavani, who nodded beyond the reach of Runar Runarsson. Dijon, who have struggled at the basement for much of the campaign, battled to get into rhythm as PSG threatened a third on 25 minutes but Soh's header cracked the crossbar. PSG's push for a third was eventually rewarded on 36 minutes after Mbappe poked home a loose ball from Kurzawa's cross following careless defending. Mbappe closed-in on a second four minutes later after twisting and turning around the defence, but his attempt crashed against the crossbar. Destined for the drop, Dijon made the first substitution of the night at the resumption in Arnold Bouka Moutou who replaced Oussama Haddadi. The visitors' evening turned from bad to worse as Mbappe grabbed his 32nd league goal of the season 56 minutes in with a cheeky dink over the on-rushing Runarsson. PSG made their first change on 77 minutes, as Colin Dagba replaced Meunier and followed with their second a minute later as Di Maria made way for Moussa Diaby. Dijon launched their first threat after 81 minutes with a low shot from Wesley Said, but Areola was on hand to make the save as he looked for the clean sheet. At the end, PSG had done more than enough to lock up the points in their penultimate encounter of the campaign with Dijon all but down.
