The agent of an African star believes that French giants Paris Saint-Germain are only after his client in order to spite FC Barcelona.
Transfer Target Denies Barca Agreement
OGC Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri was said to be close to signing for the Catalan giants over the past week, but after the French club's defeat to Napoli on Tuesday, the player insisted he had not yet agreed a deal with the Spanish giants.
Seri's representative, Franklin Mala, has now revealed that PSG are after the African midfielder, adding that he feels their interest in his client is simply to spite Barca.
"It was possible to reach an agreement as Barcelona and Nice were negotiating," he told RAC1.
"On Tuesday, they were in France, talking about technical aspects but they already knew Seri's capabilities.
"PSG came three days ago. Now PSG is putting pressure on the club to take the player, it's crazy. They just want to do it to f*** Barca."

The relationship between Barca and PSG has seemingly soured in recent weeks, beginning with Neymar's world record switch to the French giants. Seri, meanwhile, impressed in the French top flight last season, scoring seven goals and assisting another nine strikes, and also earned himself a place in the official Ligue1 Team of the Season.
