Former Orlando Pirates Star Extends Stay In Europe

A former Orlando Pirates star has been rewarded with a new contract after impressing in his debut season in France.

Marshall Munetsi joined Stade de Reims from Pirates in 2019 and made a total of 17 appearances in Ligue 1 before the season was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Zimbabwe international has now put pen-to-paper on a new deal with the French outfit that runs until 2024.

Munetsi's Reims finished the 2019/20 season in sixth spot, earning a spot in next season's UEFA Europa League qualifiers.

The Zimbabwean is yet to score for the Ligue 1 outfit but he has provided two assists this season.
