Bafana Bafana duo Lebogang Mothiba and Bongani Zungu were left off the list of nominees for the Ligue 1 African Player of the Year award.

French radio station RFI announced the nominees for the annual Marc-Vivien Foé Prize, which is awarded to the best African footballer in the French top flight.
There was also no place for former Orlando Pirates defensive midfielder Marshall Munetsi, who played a key role in helping Stade de Reims secure Europa League football next season.
Former Lille star Nicolas Pepe won the accolade last season after bagging 22 goals and 11 assists in 38 Ligue 1 appearances.
Rennes boast three players on the list - the most by any club this campaign; which include Édouard Mendy, Hamari Traoré and Mbaye Niang.

Nigerian striker Victor Osihmen also made the nominees list after he finished fourth in the Golden Boot race with 13 goals before the season was called off.
The award was created in 2009 to honour former Cameroon international Marc-Vivien Foe, who sadly passed away during a clash against Colombia after collapsing.
Mothiba was among the nominees for last season's award but lost out to Pepe, who eventually made the big-money move to Arsenal.
