The 22-year-old has enjoyed a positive return to football following his lengthy absence from the sport after his arrest in January 2022 on suspicion of attempted rape.
While the charges he was facing were dropped early last year, the Red Devils ultimately decided it was best for him to continue his career elsewhere, loaning him to LALIGA side Getafe on deadline day in August 2023.
This came after rumours suggested the 20-time English champions initially planned to reintroduce him to the first-team squad, for which the club received strong backlash online from supporters.
Greenwood, a one-time England international, has put in some eye-catching performances for the Spanish minnows since his arrival, and was on hand again on Monday night to score in Getafe's 2-0 win over Granada.
From 18 yards out and from an angle inside the penalty area, the forward managed to chip the opposition goalkeeper with a left-footed finish, bringing up his sixth strike of the campaign.

Greenwood is expected to return to United at the end of the season, although reports suggest that new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe will look to sell him permanently.
