Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois fired a brutal dig at fierce rivals FC Barcelona after clinching their 35th LaLiga title.
Los Blancos wrapped up the league title with four games to spare on Saturday evening after thrashing Espanyol 4-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Madrid were clear favourites for the title even after their surprise 4-0 defeat at the hands of the Catalan giants in El Clasico last month.
Gerard Pique's sent out a tweet after El Clasico claiming Barcelona 'are back' , but Courtois has seemingly taunted their rivals and Pique's tweet.
"After the Clasico was the key moment, because some ( Barcelona players) celebrated as if they had won the title, that they were back. But we stayed calm to beat Celta in a difficult game and against Getafe, who are always difficult," Courtois said, as per the Mirror.
"Winning the league is due to the work of the entire team. We all attack and defend. The day at Sevilla was the key, coming back from two goals down to win when everyone thought we were on the canvas and that killed our rivals a bit."
